Pultenaea flexilis

Graceful Bush Pea

Family: Fabaceae

Pultenaea flexilis is a tall bush pea plant, growing to about 4m in the understorey on dry sheltered hillsides.

The small bright yellow flowers have short stalks and cluster at the ends of branches.

The leaves are finely textured, flattish, 10-30 mm long and oblong with a fine point. The name flexilis refers to the leaves.

Pultenaea flexilis stands out when flowering along River Drive in the park because of its size and bright splashy colour.

Pultenaea flexilis flowers from August to October.
